ABOUT THE PROJECT

This project was to create a conferencing application that had the ability to schedule meetings and notify users through approval workflows. The stakeholders also wanted the ability to create recurring meetings, which required a custom solution that supported recurrence rules as defined in iCalendar RFC. When submitting the recurrence, the solution would expand the RRULE and generate all items that met the criteria, and then batch post them to the server. The user would also have the ability to edit and delete the entire recurrence of events in a single click. The overall UI features Full Calendar, and had the ability to change event times through dragging and dropping of events. This content was then utilized to render views outside of each room to monitors that would display any upcoming events.
